Even if you don't have your own products or services to sell, affiliate marketing gives you a chance to earn strong commissions through a series of one-time sales (or ongoing monthly sales). Online merchants provide you with an affiliate website (or a simple affiliate tracking link) and marketing support – all you have to do is promote the company with your link via social media, search engines or perhaps ideally your own website or blog (see above).
Fiverr. This is a popular website that can be helpful for freelancers with actual skills. Know something about digital animation? You can work for someone who doesn't and pick up some extra cash. But if you just have a brain but few skills, you can offer to do web research for someone, and maybe someone will hire you. Just know that you probably aren't going to get rich doing these jobs. The website's tag line is, "Freelance services for the lean entrepreneur," which tells you right away the pay is – meh. Plus, the website's name comes from the fact that many people work for $5 per task (but, yes, you can ask for more). Still, if you get a lot of gigs, it can add up.

If you are a fast reader and have a good grasp of grammar and language then editing may be a good freelance role for you. Editing is a great way to quickly make money online, and there are always editing jobs available on the freelance job sites. Editor’s usually get paid per word, so the faster you can check through work the more money you will make per hour.
Ready to enter the ecommerce fray? Why not sell your own stuff. Of course, along with selling your own stuff on your own website comes a whole slew of both responsibilities and technical configuration and requirements. For starters, you'll need a website and a hosting account. You'll also need a merchant account (sure you can use Stripe or PayPal). Then you'll need to design that site, build a sales funnel, create a lead magnet and do some email marketing.
In my (unpopular) opinion, getting a raise is harder than getting a promotion. Think about it from your boss’s perspective, would you rather a) pay more money for the same service, or b) pay more money for additional responsibilities. As someone who's been immersed in a number of online industries for quite some time, I know a thing or two about what it takes to succeed in this arena. Keep in mind though, you don’t need a website to do sponsored content since you can also get paid if you have a lot of social media followers. My wife has a pretty big Instagram following, and she gets all kinds of sponsorships. Not only does she get paid in cash, but we get a lot of free stuff, too. We’ve received free rugs, free lights, and free carpet cleaners. She only promotes things she loves though, so this strategy works really well for her.
